The Training Status Of Students’ Teaching Skills In Normal University Under The Local Government

Recently,The open type teachers’ education system in higher normaluniversity has been established in our country. Higher normal universities,which is thespecialized agencies to training teachers for primary school. Therefore,a qualifiedteacher must obtain certain teaching skills.The teaching skills of the normal universitystudents is a preliminary teaching skills which is formed after study education theoryand practice it or imitate others again and again.The characteristics of teaching skillsand its regular to form ask some requirements to the students in the higher normaluniversities.The reacher choose three higher normal universities in Sichuan province assamples. Using the research achievement,combine with the methods of questionnaireand interview to collect informations to know the students’ teaching skills,find somequestions as following:teaching skill targets vague;lack of curriculum of teachingskill;teachers are short of teaching skills,the inadequate motivation of students.In view of the questions above, author of this essay put forward such suggestions:student’s teaching skills should be improve,the higher normal universities should focuson the training goal,training process,training management, clear and definite the goal ofcultivate the students’ teaching skills, adjust the curriculum, reorganize teachers,strengthen education practical courses, complete evaluation mechanism, promotestudents’ self-effective.
