Private Colleges’core Competitiveness Research Of China

Private colleges in our country is a special kind of education organizations which canprofit appropriately，it’s development not only reduce the pressure of our country governmentfunding for public higher,but also inject new vitality for education mode development.Withthe higher education environment of increasingly fierce market competition, how to improvethe core competitiveness of China’s private colleges is particularly important.First of all, this paper analyzes the core competence theory, and combine with thecharacteristics of private colleges in China, analyzed the connotation of the corecompetitiveness of private colleges and the significance of the core competitiveness of privatecolleges development.Then propose and establish the evaluation index system of the corecompetitiveness of private colleges in our country.Secondly, using SWOT analysis, the paper analyzes the current situation of privatecolleges in our country at present, including the advantages and disadvantages of privatecolleges in China and facing the opportunities and threats.Then, using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to solve the problem of index weightdistribution, and three private universities in xi ’an as the research object, analyses therespective index weights and the three private colleges;Using the expert scoring method, tothe various indexes of the three private colleges, the comparative analysis.Finally, according to the evaluation results of three private colleges, puts forward thecountermeasures to enhance the core competitiveness of private colleges.
