China is a country with56national minorities, including29ethnic minoritieswhich have their own native languages. With the continuous development of societyand the growing cultural diversity, national education, especially bilingual educationhas become effective method to promote political integration and cultural diversity,the status of bilingual education is particularly important in the field of education.Language attitude as internal factor in bilingual education is one of the factorsaffecting language learners. Because of the differences among minority history,culture, tradition and religion, language attitudes to bilingual education are alsodifferent.. From the family background, this study presents that different Tibetanparents have different attitudes to Chinese language. The research emphasizes on thefactors that cause different attitudes and the reason why parents have differentattitudes.Based on a theoretical basis, combined with various forms of questionnaires andinterviews, the attitude and ability to learn Chinese language in Golog TibetanAutonomous Prefecture are studied. The thesis is divided into six parts: The firstchapter mainly introduces the origin, purpose, significance, related concepts andlanguage attitudes abroad; Chapter Two studies the research design, including thestudy of selected research methods and research ideas; Chapter Three studies basicsituation analysis; Chapter Four is the survey of Chinese language and attitudes,language descriptive statistics,with the help of SPSS19.0statistical software forstatistical processing; Chapter Five is thoughts and recommendations; Chapter six isdeficiencies and outlook.This study concludes:(1)From the educational point of view, parents of different cultures have differentattitudes to Chinese language: the higher the education level, the better the evaluationof Chinese language.(2) From a regional point of view, the attitude of urban parents with students inChinese language is significantly related;(3) From home background, parents speaking Chinese at home are more likely tostimulate children to speak Chinese language. |
