Problems And Countermeasures Of Community Policing Construction In Wujiang District Of Suzhou City

Community policing is a based in the community, concentrating on basic public security work to set management, service and crime prevention in one of the new pattern of policing. It will be the eventual realization of policing by the blow to the anti paradigm, from passive to active, from administration oriented to service-oriented transformation. Public security organs at all levels to carry out the construction of community policing, based on the actual situation, local conditions, to make a positive effort and exploration, and achieved some results and experience. But as a whole, the community policing work is still in its initial stage, the basic work is still relatively weak, some difficult problems restricting the development of the specialized construction, it is worth our attention and thinking.This paper uses literature research, interviews and other methods, in the investigation of the historical background of community policing, the basic characteristics and contents of community policing, and the experience of foreign community policing, analyzes the main problems and reasons, and puts forward the countermeasures, in order to provide reference for the future of community policing in Wujiang district.
