| The formation of national consciousness is a necessary stage to locate individual’s own role and group home. Pupils are in the initiation stage of life which is a crucial period of formation national consciousness. If a student in his primary school gets a good national identity, he can get a good social adaptability, and develop a healthy psychology.Primary school in China aimed at developing students’ consciousness of national education activities are not uncommon, but with little success, some activities held in the form of class meetings or the flag-raising ceremony, content is not rich; Some education activities not combined with the psychological characteristics of students, can’t walk into their inner, lead to superficial education activities, and was largely invisible. However, the young pioneers’ school-based curriculum emphasizes all the activities of the Young Pioneers as the main body. It relies on the students’ themselves to organize activities that is easier to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to participate. Secondly, the young pioneers’ school-based curriculum emphasizes students’ activities and experience and sentiment, which will help students to transform knowledge in books into their own literacy. Thirdly young pioneers’ school-based curriculum emphasizes a series of educational activities about a theme, which will have a lasting impact on students. In this case, with the help of the young pioneers school-based activity curriculum to develop pupils’ national consciousness can provide effective ideas.This study aims at design a young pioneers’ school-based curriculum with the content of forming students’ national consciousness. There are two main problems. Firstly, is there a demand of designing a young pioneers’ school-based curriculum with the content of forming students’ national consciousness? Secondly, what are the problems of young pioneers’ curriculum about forming students’ national consciousness?Through questionnaires and interviews, this study found that there is a demand of designing a young pioneers’ school-based curriculum with the content of forming students’ national consciousness. They are many problems of young pioneers’ curriculum about forming students’ national consciousness including unclear course goal, poor course content, inadequate frequency, poor curriculum implementation, and missing curriculum evaluation. Finally, this study points out the cultivation of the young pioneers pupil national consciousness school-based activity curriculum based on theory of activity curriculum and understanding of national consciousness to provide practice and reference value. |
