| Using the theory and methods of public management, this paper analyzes the existing problems in the Chaoyang City civil service examination from a public management perspective. The paper, which provides ideas and methods to further improve the civil service examination system, puts forward the solutions of the problems and suggestions by drawing on the domestic and foreign advanced experience of civil servant examination and the application of public management theory.This paper has four main sections, the first part describes the research significance, the background, content, methods and the keywords of civil service examination; The second part carries on the analysis to the situation of Chaoyang City civil servants and current civil service examination. Meanwhile, it summarizes the existing problems of the Chaoyang City civil service examination system; According to the performance appraisal and 360 assessment theory, the third part, which is based on the service-oriented government and job classification, draws lessons from the domestic and foreign research achievements of the civil servant examination. At the same time it puts forward the design scheme of the improved Chaoyang City civil service examination system and analyzes the feasibility of this design scheme. The fourth part puts forward suggestions on how to improve the civil service examination system. The suggestions include setting up the performance appraisal concepts, scientifically perfecting civil servant assessment index system, optimizing assessment method and dimension, strengthening the use of inspection results and so on. |
