The features of subway are the fastest speed, transportation convenient, reliableservice, large capacity, and comfortable service. After the first-stage project ofsubway in Harbin puts into use, the city’s traffic pressure will be reduced, and thecongestion of the bus will be eased, too. Although the subway has many advantages,but the period of the subway operation may also exist some risks. At the macro level,the state of the economic development in our country, and the crisis maybe alsocome with it. At the micro level, the space is narrow, dense population, in the caseof an accident, it will be easy to get worse. The main danger may occur during theoperation of the subway is fire. According to the subway traffic safety and operationstatus of domestic and international situation, the subway traffic operation in ourcountry needs to get attention.The paper aims at the problem of subway emergency evacuation, and itanalyzed the crowd’s psychological characteristics in the specific environment ofsubway station, and also analyzed the rules of individual behavior, summarized thetypes of decisions. This paper established the crowd evacuation model use themethod of ABMS based on the Chinese cultural context. It used the computer tosimulation the situation of subway emergency evacuation. Through the analysis ofthe simulated conditions, it evaluated the response performance of subway station,and calculated the evacuation time, observed the evacuation process and populationdistribution, identified the factors that affect the evacuation and the bottlenecks,found out the methods that should be noticed in the evacuation process, providedguidance for the practical work.At the theoretical level, the model enriches the theory of evacuation in crowdedplaces. At the practical significance level, through the analysis of the simulatedconditions, the paper provided some realistic basis for the emergency managementof subway station. It also can improve the emergency response capacity of theHarbin subway operation Department, improve the safety evacuation, provides areference model of crisis management for other similar people crowded places. Ithas strong application value and practical significance.
