Purpose:To know the awareness of the psychological first aid and the emergency psychological quality of medical students,by investigate medical students`s psychological first aid knowledge,attitudes,behavior and psychology-related indicators. There are four indicators resilience,looming cognitive style,stress appraisal,perceived social support. To explore the effect and mode of psychological first aid training by train the medical college students.Methods:1.Research study Using psychological first aid knowledge, attitudes, behavior questionnaire,Connor-davidson Resilience Scale, Looming Maladaptive Style Questionnaire, Stress Appraisal Measure,Perceived social support scale,test a random sample of 600 medical university student form medical university. To know the present status of medical college student`s awareness of the psychological first aid and psychology-related indicators.2.Intervention study Exercise Group The recruited subjects were divided into theory group,exercise group and control groups. Based on the finding of the research study,designed the programs of psychological first aid training according to the psychological characteristics of medical college students.The theory group were taught the knowledge of psychological first aid on 4 classes. Beside the 4 classes, the exercise group practiced the step of psychological first aid on 16 classes.The control group was not given any training. Compare the difference in psychological first aid knowledge, attitudes, behavior questionnaire scores and psychology-related indicators questionnaire scores between the three groups and within the intervention group by psychological first aid training. Explore the effect of psychological first aid training for psychological first aid knowledge,attitude,behavior and psychology related indicators.Results1.Survey finding(1)The total score of medical student `s the psychological first aid knowledge is21.82±4.26, the total score of attitude is 23.48±4.04, the total score of behavior is33.08±8.91。(2)There were no significant difference quantity was found in grade on psychology related indicators questionnaire.There were significant differences in only child or not on social threat of LMSQ,challenge and uncontrollable of SAM,In-family perceived social support and PSSS(p<0.05). There were significant differences in origin on optimism of CD-RISC,social threat of LMSQ,threat and uncontrollable of SAM(p<0.05). There were significant differences in economic of family onoptimism of CD-RISC,controllable-by-self and controllable-by-other of SAM,in-family perceived social support,out-family perceived social support and PSSS(p<0.05). There were significant differences in family situation on in-family perceived social support of PSSS(p<0.05). There were significant differences in religious or nonreligious on physical threat of LMSQ and controllable-by-other of SAM(p<0.05),each scale on each other demographic variables had not significantly different.(3)There are different degrees of relationship between resilience,looming cognitive style,stress appraisal,perceived social support. Structural equation modeling analysis showed that perceived social support can directly influence the resilience,can also through the looming cognitive style affect resilience.2.Intervention study results(1)Using repeated measures analysis of variance to analyze the data of pretest,immediate post-test and delay post-test,the results were found: psychological first aid knowledge(F=4.979,p<0.05;F=15.122,p<0.01),behavior(F=4.979,p<0.05; F=6.936,p<0.05)have significant difference among treatment,attitude(F=4.979,p<0.05;F=4.071,p<0.05)have trends over time. Further comparisons revealed: the score of behavior on the theory group`immediate post-test and delayed post-test has significantly higher than pretest and control group,the score of knowledge and attitude on the theory group`immediate post-test t has significantly higher than pretest and control group. The score of knowledge and behavior on the exercise group`immediate post-test and delayed post-test has significantly higher than pretest and control group,the score of attitude on the exercise group`immediate post-test has significantly higher than pretest and control group.(2)Using repeated measures analysis of variance to analyze the data of pretest,immediate post-test and delay post-test,the results were found: strength of CD-RISC(F=6.401,p<0.05),LMSQ(F=6.836,p<0.01)have significant difference among treatment.Challenge(F=49.348,p<0.01;F=6.363,p<0.05) controllable-by-self(F=8.400,p<0.01;F=4.122,p<0.05) controllable-by-other(F=8.972,p<0.01;F=3.410,p<0.05) of SAM,physical threats of LMSQ(F=8.183,p<0.01;F=3.981,p<0.05)have trends over time.Tenacity(F=11.542,p<0.05;F=2.823,p<0.05) optimism(F=3.389,p<0.05;F=2.735,p<0.05) and CD-RISC(F=8.942,p<0.01;F=2.625,p<0.01),in-family perceived social support(F=4.979,p<0.05;F=3.651,p<0.05) and PSSS(F=4.046,p<0.05;F=2.380,p<0.01) is different with subgroup. Further comparisons revealed: The score of tenacity,strength,optimism of CD-RISC, challenge, controllable-by-self,controllable-by-other of SAM,in-family perceived social support of PSSS on the exercise group`immediate post-test has significantly higher than pretest,control group and theory group. The score of CD-RISC, physical threat of LMSQ,PSSS on the exercise group`immediate post-test and delayed post-test has significantly higher than pretest,control group and theory group.Conclusion:(1) The medical college students` knowledge of psychological first aid are limited,and did`t know how to offer psychological first aid. However they would like to accept the help of psychological first aid. The medical college students’ psychological quality of should be improved,it will be help them respond to emergencies advisably and provide better services of psychological first aid.(2) Psychological first aid theory training theory can enrich the knowledge of psychological first aid,improved the attitudes and behavior. Combined with exercise can also enhance medical students’ psychological quality for respond to emergencies. It will ensure the smooth implementation of psychological first aid,and it has a certain delay effect...
