The development of socialist market economy brings great chances to cultural industry, which has to face the challenges that came from economic globalisation, being a member of WTO, the approaching information society and our social transformation. The development has brought new principle of cultural industry, but our research in principle of cultural industry is not deep enough. Problems are found in the industrialization, and, these phenomena uncover deficiency in many fields. So we have to make a survey to cultural industry of our country.Chapter 2 of the article discussed the property of cultural product. Like normal products, cultural product has value and usefulness. This paper emphatically analysed the usefulness of cultural product. Cultural product fulfilled all kinds of demands, but cultural product has its own character compared with normal product, this in turn forms its own usefulness. The analysis of this character will be an important entry of research of cultural demand.After knowing the character of cultural product. Chapter 3 presents the production of cultural product, i.e. some economical factors, which influence the production of cultural product, such as the analysis of production function, cost, scale and essential factors in production.We got a whole view of the production in last chapter. Chapter 4 analysed the demand and consume of cultural product, that is to say, some economical factors which influence consumers. Such as hobby, usefulness, substitute effect, price elasticity, income control, time control, etc. This is the most important part in the whole paper.The consume of cultural product is a hot spot which China has to face, and the condition of cultural needs become bottleneck which restrict the consume of cultural product. The research on consumer behaviour is quite essential in economics. Consumer behaviour is one of the main factors that influence the price of cultural product and the change of supply and demand in cultural product market. Those researches on consumer behaviour mainly included: hobby, usefulness, substitute effect, elasticity, income control, time control, etc.The analysis on the demand and consume of cultural product, is to strengthen the ability of cultural industry to expand market. Chapter 5 expounded how to strengthen this kind of ability. Since facing the market, cultural industry should link the market.
