A Practice Report On The Simulated C-E Consecutive Interpretation Of Wang Jianlin’s Speech On Xinhua Net

This report is based on the author’s personal experience of a simulated consecutive interpretation practice. The material of this report comes from a speech which was given by Wang Jianlin in June 2015 on Xinhua Net.The primary content of this speech is summarizing the gains and losses of the past year and projecting the plans of the future. According to the interpreting theory, the author participated in the whole interpreting process. On account of the problems during the process of interpreting like lack of preparation, figures, information input and output problems and so on. This report provides efficient ways to analyze and solve these problems, which will improve the quality of interpreting..The interpretation report is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction of interpreting task, describing the background and requirement of the interpretation task. The next part is about the description of the whole process of the interpretation., including preparation before interpreting, interpreting on the spot and the end. The third part mainly gives interpreting problem cases and and analysis. And the last part focuses on strategies to solve problems of the interpreting process.
