With the development of globalization and the prosperity of tourism, more and more people begin to pay attention to the cultural shift of translation theory, which made the translation ethics theory bloom at the present. Among all the translation theory school, Andrew Chesterman gained more approval by people with his five modes of ethics translation theory. In this essay, the author will mainly give us a vivid description and analysis of the publicity-orientated material Milan Tourist guide translation text, based on the “ethics of service” and “ethics of communication” from Andrew’s theory. In this translation procedure, the author took measures such like adding notes, taking complement methods and splitting long and difficult sentences to solve problems of too much historical information and long sentences with the guidance of ethics translation theory, which is aimed to accomplish the final purpose of the translation. With the translation of Milan Tourist guide, the author not only improved her skills on translation, but also contributed a solid foundation for the following generation to further study the ethics translation theory.
