Cultural industry is the result of the mixture of economy and culture. After the industrial and the information revolution, the world economy faces a new leap, culture as the core of the industrial revolution infiltrate into every cell of the society. Along with the industrialization and modernization development of the world, the cultural industry has become a pillar industry to promote the development of national economy and new economic growth point, which is expanding in the process of economic globalization and has infinite vitality. The cultural industry is like a sunrise industry in the 21st century, which plays an important role in developed countries. However, there is a big gap between China’s cultural industry development and developed countries. As is known to all, China’s cultural industry is entering a rapid development period, research on the competitiveness of cultural industry cannot be ignored.This paper introduced the system of China’s provincial cultural industry competitiveness of the theoretical analysis and empirical research. Based on literature research, this paper integrated use of the cultural industry theory and industrial competitiveness theory, from the perspective of the influence factors of provincial cultural industry competitiveness, the cultural industry competitiveness analysis framework, according to the new culture and related industry 2012 standards, using hierarchical analysis method to build the model evaluation method and determine the related factors and weights of the reasonable use of statistics, the cultural industry competitiveness of China’s 31 provinces and cities were measured, and the comparative study from the perspective of multiple provincial cultural industry competitiveness in China. Based on the results of the comparative study, this paper puts forward related Suggestions to raise the competition ability of the provincial cultural industry in China.First of all, this paper introducing the related studies of the cultural industry competitiveness at home and abroad. From foreign and domestic research on the basic theory of cultural industry is reviewed, summarized the industrial competitiveness relevant theoretical study, the domestic scholars on the competitiveness of cultural industry related research are introduced. On the review of literature on the competitiveness of cultural industry is summarized, the article has carried on the theoretical analysis, this paper introduces the different definitions and classifications about culture industry at home and abroad, pointed out in this paper, the definition of cultural industry will continue to do in 2004, the national bureau of statistics to the definition of "culture and related industry", and analyzes the characteristics of the cultural industry. From the inputs, the innovation behavior, three aspects analyzes the cultural industry of the government’s role in the development of knowledge economics, defining the meaning of the cultural industry competitiveness, and think of a provincial cultural industry competitiveness plays a leading role in China with cultural resources, science and technology level, economic strength, brand and culture.Secondly, considering the factors which affect China’s provincial cultural competitiveness, on the basis of the porter diamond model, build a provincial cultural industry competitiveness evaluation model. To comprehensive, objectivity, gradation, practicability and operability for the principle, according to the new culture and related industry 2012 standards, on the basis of previous studies, the cultural industry competitiveness index system is divided into three levels, combining the basic situation of our provincial cultural industry development, from the aspects of six elements influence the competitiveness of cultural industry to build the 15 secondary indexes,47 three-level index, formed the cultural industry competitiveness evaluation index system, and by using analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weights of evaluation indexes.Finally, the empirical research on the provincial cultural industry competitiveness has been carried on in our country. Using the cultural industry competitiveness evaluation index system, combined with the statistical data, calculate the cultural industry competitiveness of China’s 31 provinces and cities. Through the comparison of a provincial comprehensive competitiveness of cultural industry in our country, a provincial comprehensive competitiveness of cultural industry in our country difference obvious, score distribution is relatively uniform, no serious polarization. Overall, the cultural industry competitiveness of China’s eastern cities is much higher than in the western region, and the internal structure of China’s provincial cultural industry competitiveness is not harmonious. Through the impact of China’s cultural industry competitiveness of 31 provinces and cities first-level indicators and secondary indicators of transverse comparison, found that China’s provincial cultural industry competitiveness in the primary and secondary indicators of performance difference obvious, if able to the root cause of the differences in China’s provincial cultural industry competitiveness research thorough, clear regional development advantages and disadvantages, and set a differential regional cultural industry development strategy, coordinate the internal structure of the cultural industry competitiveness, will effectively promote the rapid development of cultural industry in our country, to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s cultural industry.
