This paper focus on the study of multimedia teaching on the strokes and orders of Chinese characters in Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu, using quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as conducting an experiment.The conclusions included four parts. First, multimedia teaching improved the enthusiasm of the students, improved teacher’s teaching efficiency and enhanced the effectiveness of classroom management. Second, multimedia teaching improved the level of writing Chinese characters. Third, the effects of multimedia teaching on Chinese characters showed bias towards different characters. The characters which have more strokes benefited more than the characters which have less strokes. In the end, compared to the traditional Chinese characters teaching, students are more satisfied with the multimedia teaching on Chinese characters. |
