The Semantic Structure Analysis And The Cultural Interpretation Of The Idioms Constituted Of "Yu"

This thesis tries to completely analyze and research the idioms constituted of "yu" from semantic, grammar and cultural aspects. To achieve such goals, firstly, the thesis analyzes the meaning of "yu" from authoritative dictionary and illustrate with examples. Then the semantic and symbolic meaning of the idioms constituted on "yu" will be sorted. Secondly, analyzes the grammatical structure and grammatical functions of the idioms constituted of "yu". Finally, explore the cultural connotation of the idioms constituted of "yu". By the study of these aspects, we expect to conduct a comprehensive understanding of the idioms constituted of "yu" and experience the fascination of Chinese language and Chinese culture.
