Chinese nation is a descendant of the dragon, the dragon totem is known as the symbol of the Chinese nation. But traced back to ancient times, the appearance and the origin of the legend of the dragon was inspired by the image of snake. In primitive society, snake as a worship object of as well as sheep, horses, bears and other animals what has experienced from the totem to the evolution of surname. Snake occupies an indispensable position in the Chinese language and culture. This article takes "snake" word formation as the main research object, through theoretical analysis, corpus analysis and examples, analyzes "she" in aspect of the semantic, structure, metaphor and culture. Sum up "snake" and its language form characteristics of word formation. First, the paper discusses the basic meaning of "snake" and analyze and summarizes metaphoric meaning and extended meaning of "she", includes inter-cultural content. Second, it summarizes the types of metaphor the formation of the "snake" in four words idioms. Third, from the perspective of language and culture aspect, it concludes that the cultural connotations of the formation of the "snake" induction and case analysis. This article based on the formation of language interpretation of "snake", explains the contains in the "snake" and the national cultural connotation in word-formation.
