Analysis On Our Current Moral Construction Of Network

Along with the development of network technology, network society has developed into human "second community", but there are still many differences between the network world and the real world, such as virtual, free, open, etc. The presence of these features has caused a lot of new moral problems in network society, such as honesty, network behavior anomie, interpersonal alienation, moral indifference, etc. This article starts with the definition of network morality, then analyses the reality of our network moral status and the reasons existing in them, and explore some corresponding countermeasures for strengthening the construction of network morality at last.The first part is about the definition of network morality. Network morality is a new kind of moral system which is based on the Internet. It works on people’s behavior in the Internet and regulates them according to the basic moral standards. It has four characteristics, such as autonomy, pluralism, open and self-discipline.The second part is the analysis on the causes of network moral problems. At present, as the network technology is developing in a rapid speed, the network environment has also changed a lot. Network morality, as the extension of the real moral, unavoidably causes some ethical problems for not fully fit. The main performances are: 1.Network moral standard imbalance. 2. Self-discipline consciousness weak or absence. 3. Emotional alienation.Analysis on the causes of these problems can be summarized into four aspects: firstly, the lack of comprehensive and effective laws; secondly, the lack of network ethics; thirdly, the lack of netizen moral literacy; fourthly, the lack of rational cognition of moral anomie.In the third aspect, I mainly describe the countermeasures for strengthening the network moral construction: 1.The construction of basal moral norms of network, which helps people to strengthen their network moral consciousness, needs the correct theoretical guidance, the sense of moral responsibility, and the strength from education. 2. Grasp the relationship between network and social elements. Correctly recognize the relationship between the generality and particularity of network ethics. Correctly handle the relationship between law and morality. Correctly handle the relationship between ethics and technology. 3. Building a very fruitful network morals system. The government must play the leading role. Accelerate the speed of legislation, and regulate the network-law system. Improve the research on network technology, and make up with the lack in the technological field.
