A Practice Report On The Translation Of Employment And Labor Markets Budget On CBO Official Website

This is an E-C practice report on the author’s participation of abroad information translation work that Heilongjiang Budget Engineering Committee provides. This report selects online information translation about the topic of housing from CBO website as the subject of case analysis, analyzes the problems encountered in the translation work and then seek the corresponding strategies according to translation principles and process appropriate solutions and approaches respectively. At the end, there is a conclusion and reflection of the translation course.There are five chapters in this report. At the beginning of the report describes the translation task, including the client background, task delegations, description of CBO website and the task requests,as well as text content, text type and features. Chapter two is on the prerequisites for this translation task and the description about the task process. A series of pre-preparations including the preparation for professional knowledge and words, the parallel texts. As well as the translation process, and the post-translation matters, and describes specific work in all stages.Chapter three and chapter four are the main part of the paper. In the third chapter, the professional words translation problems are discussed. After finding the problems, the solution are given too. The problems mainly include the misiterpret of the word meaning. And then writer bring a lot of translation cases and analyze the text. As well as the sentence level. Chapter is about the direction of paralle texts and Skopos theories. With the combination of the translation theory, writher has a deeper understading of the translation course.In the last part, there is a reflection of the translation course, which is listed as the order of the translation. Sebsequently, cultural factor are explored during translation. Afterwards the author declares professional qualities required to be a translator and put forward specific requirements for future translation practice. Finally, the paper concludes the gains and shortcomings in this task which contributes to improve professional skills. It is hoped that this translation study will offer reference information for others.
