Background Proactive personality is the main determinants of individual initiative behavior and proactive behavior. Foreign scholars already has a wealth of experience for the study of proactive personality. They believe that proactive personality can predict career success. But others believe, the role of proactive personality to predict career success may be affected by the work environment. College Counselors shoulder the responsibility of education and training the university student. With the increased workload and work pressure, counselors prone to burnout phenomenon. Therefore, it’s has important significance to increase the care and training for counselors, improve their work quality and efficiency and promote the development and growth of counselor.ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between proactive personality and burnout of college counselors.To investigate the relationship between Self-efficacy and Burnout of college counselors.Further analysis the proactive personality and sense of self-efficacy of college counselors impact on their job burnout. Based on this study, I hope to contribute to the construction of university counselorMethodsThe method of random sampling was adopted,300 full-time counselors of 6 colleges who from Xinxiang and Zhengzhou City were chosen for the study.300 full-time counselors from 6 colleges where in the citys of Xinxiang and Zhengzhou were selected as the research object, The people age ranged from 21 to 41, and the average age was 27.62±6.02. All the students were tested with the general data questionnaire, Prospective Personality Inventory, General Self-Efficacy Scale and Maslach Burnout generic questionnaire, Then the relationship of Counselor’s prospective personality and Self-efficacy and it’s burnout were analyzed. All the data were inputted and analyzed with the SPSS software.Results(1) Prospective college counselors Personality Inventory score initial judgment generally normal or slightly low, after statistical analysis found that proactive personality average score at the middle level,Since the statistical description indicates that is (72.18± 1.70); gender, age, marital status, education and work experience degree of influence on the personality of each prospective college counselors are not the same, Where there are significant gender differences in proactive personality total score was statistically significant (t=24.29, P<0.01); With age counselors proactive personality continue to reduce the score to ages 21 to 30 years old and 31 to 41 years for the grouping variable into two groups t test, the difference was statistically significant (t=9.75, P<0.01); Unmarried counselor on proactive personality scores were higher for married counselor, the difference was statistically significant (t=23.32.P<0.01); education level were analyzed from different academic counselor its proactive personality score was not statistically significance (P>0.05); increases with length of service, the counselor proactive personality score decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).(2) The amount of self-efficacy of College Counselors generally lower in the medium-low state, the majority of self-efficacy scale scores below normal mode level, statistical description of the way in order to indicate that the (21.67±1.55); male counselor self-efficacy was significantly higher than women, the difference was statistically significant (t=25.23,P<0.01); counselor self-efficacy higher than unmarried married counselor, significant difference was statistically significant (t=8.253, P<0.01); Counselor self-efficacy Universities low age group was significantly higher than the high age group (t =10.55,P<0.01); increases with length of service, the counselor self-efficacy score reduced which worked for a period of 3-4 years group 5-8 years work experience between groups and there was a significant difference in, with statistical significance (t=9.56, P<0.01), working with the working group and 2 years 3-4 years group (t=1.43, P=0.15) working group 5-8 years and more than 8 years (t=0.58, P=0.56) counselor self-efficacy between the two groups were not statistically significant.(3) Counselors have some degree of burnout status, but the extent of their burnout generally not high. Various factors on the counselors in the work produced by the impact of differences in burnout also varied. College Counselors burnout dimensions were some differences exist in terms of gender, male counselor emotional exhaustion, cynicism were lower than women, but no significant difference between emotional exhaustion was not statistically significant (t=1.26, P=0.21), male counselors cynicism significantly lower than women, with statistical significance (t= 12.07, P<0.01), The men of accomplishment low score significantly higher than women, the higher the score the lower the low achievement, the difference was statistically significant (t=14.88, P<0.01); College Counselors burnout dimensions are present in the marital status significant differences, and married college counselor emotional exhaustion (t=8.25,P<0.01), cynicism (t=7.21, P<0.01) and a sense of accomplishment low (t=6.01, P<0.01) were higher than unmarried Universities counselor, with statistical significance;College Counselors burnout dimensions were kept on the age difference between the situation is different, where the lower age group with high emotional exhaustion college counselor counselor age group had no significant difference, not statistically significant (t=1.30.P=0.23), depersonalization scores (t=5.14, P<0.01) was significantly lower than the high age group, low achievement scores (t=7.00, P<0.01) was significantly higher than the high age group counselor, the difference is statistically significance; College Counselors burnout dimensions are present in the working age difference, where emotional exhaustion, the middle age group was significantly higher than the low age group and high age group (t=2.31,P=0.02,t=4.07, P<0.01) low in cynicism, the middle age group was significantly higher than the working age group higher than the low and the high age group, the difference was statistically significant (t=14.11, P<0.01, t-3.69, P<0.01), low aspect accomplishment age group scored higher than the age group, but not statistically significant (t=0.69, P=0.49), in the age group scored significantly higher than the high age group of college counselors, the difference was statistically significant (t=7.66, P<0.01).(4) Counselors proactive personality, self-efficacy correlation analysis of its counselors, and college counselors proactive personality dimensions and the dimensions of self-efficacy and burnout were significantly correlated, the proactive personality score respectively, with each dimension of burnout scores Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant correlation (t=-0.95, P<0.01, r=-0.933, P<0.01, r=-0.975, P<0.01) difference statistical significance; the self-efficacy scores and occupational burnout burnout scores scores for each dimension Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant correlation between the difference was statistically significant (r=-0.928, P<0.01,r=-0.922, P<0.01, r =-0.947, P<0.01).Conclusion(1) To some extent, the proactive personality and sense of self-efficacy of college counselors showed a significant negative correlation with their burnout; As counselor proactive personality and lower self-efficacy, the burnout levels are constantly increasing;(2) Gender, age, marital status, education, and work experience degree of influence on college counselors proactive personality and burnout vary;...
