Senior high school is a critical period for career development.Students at this stage,on the one hand,have to deal with various situations in the transition period of life,such as subject selection,college entrance examination and major application,and on the other hand,have a clear understanding of their career planning direction,conceive and prepare for their future career.In the new college entrance examination system,arts and science are not divided,and students choose subjects independently,with "3+3" and "3+1+2".These characteristics show that the new college entrance examination attaches importance to students’ autonomy and requires students’ career development.Previous studies mainly focused on undergraduates and postgraduates,but few studies focused on high school students.Therefore,this paper selects high school students as the research object,adopts questionnaire and experiment methods to analyze the relationship between proactive personality,career decision-making self-efficacy and career adaptability of high school students,and puts forward specific suggestions on how to enhance the career adaptability of high school students.In the study 1,510 high school students were selected as research objects,and three questionnaires,including Proactive Personality Scale,Career adaptability Scale and Career Decision Self-efficacy Scale,were adopted.To explore the relationship between proactive personality,career decision self-efficacy and career adaptability in high school students and the mediating role of career decision self-efficacy between proactive personality and career adaptability.Through data analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The scores of proactive personality,career decision self-efficacy and career adaptability of senior high school students are all higher than the theoretical median,and the overall level is higher.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between proactive personality,career decision self-efficacy and career adaptability among senior high school students.(3)Career decision self-efficacy of high school students plays a significant mediating effect between proactive personality and career adaptability.In the study 2,the experimental group and the control group were used to explore the effect of group counseling on improving the career decision self-efficacy and indirectly improving the career adaptability.After grouping screening,30 students in Grade one were selected as experimental subjects,including 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group.The experimental group conducted 8 times of career group counseling,and the control group watched psychological movies to study whether the self-efficacy of high school students’ career decision making can be enhanced after the group counseling.The results confirm that the career group counseling can indeed enhance the self-efficacy of career decision making.This study can not only enrich the career planning theory of high school students,but also provide practical reference for the career guidance of high school students under the background of the new college entrance examination reform. |
