The paper is the practice report of consecutive interpreting. The content is the consec utive interpreting task about the talk between French Chamber of Commerce Chairman an d the leader of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. I took the vers ion of their talk as the analytic target by analyzing issues happened in the course, and disc ussing the interpreting qualities. The report stresses the "preparation before interpreting", and divided the preparation into 3 parts:the preparation of the theme, the preparation of t he terms, and the preparation of body and mind quality. And I described what I have done in every part in details. I also described the current situation when I was interpreting, incl uding how I dealt with the emergency problems and the matters needing attention after int erpreting. In the chapter "cases analysis", I took the typical cases as examples and analyze d the version from language aspects and non-language aspects. (Language aspects:obstac les for language use, obstacles for listening, addition and simplification of information, he sitation and misinterpreting, and lack of knowledge. Non-language aspects:the accents of the speaker, length of the speech, and shortage in short-term memory).Through analyzing the case, the report gets:1.It proves the importance of the preparation before interpreting.2.It mentions the prospect for the future study and work, so it emphasizes that students sh ould enhance the basic qualities, and pay attention to the cultural difference.
