The Semantic Analysis And The Culture Explanation Of Chinese Traditional Cultural Core Category Of "Da"

In the long process of historical development."Da" gradually has the semantic system and rich connotation. It not only affects people’s world outlook, the outlook on life and values formation, but also affects the aesthetic sentiment and pursuit in all aspects, so it embodies the aesthetic tendency of the Chinese nation. This paper begins with the semantic and rhetorical perspective, then analyses the semantic features of "Da"as notional word and as function word. Secondly analyses the structure of words involved "Da" in order to further understanding of the range of application and the usage of "Da". Finally expounds the reasons of thought of adoring "Da"from the Chinese traditional culture.
