"Chinese Dictionary" is the biggest historical Chinese dictionary, and it is also a dictionary which collects the most Chinese words in the world. The main body of the dictionary consists of twelve volumes, including charactres and words, with a collection of about 375,000 items of words involving many aspects such as ancient and modern society, customs, culture with abandant connotation. The editors of the dictionary have saught to cover a complete items, make all explanations explicit, consecution clear, and language concise. This dictionary meets the reqirements of lexicographical books in terms of scientificity, knowledge and stability. It is intituled as the "archive" of ancient and modern Chinese words in the academics in China.Since the the beginning of publishing of "Chinese Dictionary" in 1986, Chinese Dictionary has been praised by scholars. However,this national key projects has lasted only two decades from the prior period of human resource’s searching for materials to its publishment of complete twelve published volumes. "Chinese Dictionary" has mistakes inevitably due to substance and technical conditions, as well as various subjective consciousness and objective historical factors in the process,too. "Chinese Dictionary" exposed more and more problems especially with the in-depth study of the Chinese language, the establishment of large electronic databases and constantly explore new corpus.At present, many domestic linguistists have already made abandant endeavors on the rectification and revision of the errors from the aspect of theory and specific examples and achieved plentiful fruits with high qualification. Academics in China has shown high expectation and support to its revision and republication.As the present writers,time and knowledge are limited, in the full use of the database, books in the libary, this thesis only studies some items of "Qing" in the eleventh volume in Chinese Dictionary. Then classifies the following questions:first,the problem of examples(examples’ of last time, examples of non source licenses, the lack of examples);second, problems of intrepretation(sense incomplete, the erroneoue explanations);third,minssing entries;forth,other problems.In accordance with the "well documented, word for word" principle, the prsent writer collate out some revision and complement suggestions with referring of data, in strict accordance with the ascertainment of the time of the work and the authors’ survival time, checking one by one, added in order to "fill out Examples" the name listed, hoping to make contribution to the perfecting of Chinese Dictionary.
