The Oracle Dictionary In The First Seven Volumes For Commentaries On The Justification

Oracle bone inscriptions is the earliest characters we have found at present,whose systemis relatively complete, and it is the earliest Chinese literature. From the oracle boneinscriptions was discovered to now, both at home and abroad scholars have studied on it fromdifferent perspectives, with remarkable achievements. In the1980s," the oracle dictionary"was edited by Xu Zhongshu with unique style, more comprehensive and accurate definition,reflects the highest level in the oracle bone inscriptions of lexicography in the80s, stillhaving an important influence. However, restricted by the Oracle data and academic researchability, the " the oracle dictionary" will inevitably have deficiencies. In recent years, with thedevelopment of new materials and the increasingly in-depth research on oracle,scholars havepointed out the problems of the "the oracle dictionary" in explanation, interpretation,compiling system and other aspects, but these studies are mostly scattered, especially thedefinition of "Oracle dictionary" has not been combed systematically and comprehensively.This paper is based on the "the new oracle",which is the latest oracle reference book,so asto compare with "Shuowen Jiezi".The first seven volumes of a total of620words in"ShuowenJiezi" are the research object, studying the interpretation of its meaning in"Oracledictionary",and further analysis. Research on the definition of the first seven volumes.Limitedto the length, each volume choosing3to4typical characters examples highlights, combinedwith "the oracle dictionary", studying the definitions of it.Meantime it may concerns the fontproblems,the dialectical is also carried on.Most of the word cases are attached to the text informs of attached list.The interpretation and the meanings after the annotation are listed oneby one,and comparisons are made between them,the meanings are arranged by the sequenceof original meaning, extended meaning, borrowed meaning.The text is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction, including the researchsituation, research significance and research method, material sources; the second part is thecompiling situation of "the oracle dictionary", this paper briefly introduces the maincharacteristics and shortcomings of "the oracle dictionary" are analyzed respectively fromthree aspects:explanation, interpretation, compiling system;the third part according to theorder of "the oracle dictionary" is divided into seven sections, at the beginning of eachsection,the collection of words and the situation of interpretation in this chapter are brieflystated,and then the example words are explained with clear target, all the senses will besummarized for each word; the fourth part is to the oracle dictionary meanings and syndromeafter compare the meanings in the form of a list, intuitively reflect the oracle dictionary incommentaries on the issues.
