Study On Analysis Of VCE Chinese Examination And Teaching Chinese Culture

With the improvement of China’s international status and rapidly development of economy, Chinese language gets more and more attention from many countries’ government and different sectors of society, so does the teaching and spreading of Chinese culture. With the promotion of Chinese language, teaching Chinese language has been developed rapidly in worldwide.The institute of Confucius contributes a lot about the promotion of teaching Chinese and spreading Chinese culture in a worldwide. For solving the problem of lacking of teachers of teaching Chinese language in various countries,the educational departments of different countries and Chinese government have signed cooperation project which is applying for Chinese language teachers and volunteers to institutes of Confucius for supporting of the development of Chinese language teaching and popularization of Chinese language. The writer luckily as a volunteer was sent to Hawkesdale P12 College to as assisting Chinese language teaching. During teaching the writer found that not only teaching Chinese language is important but also spreading Chinese culture. And also Chinese culture plays an very important role in Chinese language test in VCE(Victoria Certificate of Education).I am trying to figure out according to the Chinese language test in VCE and how to do the Chinese culture teaching effectively.This thesis is composed of four parts.Part one,the preface.Review and summarize the achievements of domestic and foreign culture teaching research field. This part will explain the research purpose and the basic research methods.Part two, is about the Chinese language test in VCE. Introduce the development and classification of Chinese language test in VCE.Analyze the Chinese language test paper and do some questionnaires. And sort out the results of the questionnaires.Part three,according to the Chinese language test in VCE how to teach Chinese in Victoria of Australia.It includes the definition of language and culture,the relationship between language and culture when teaching Chinese as a second language,the importance of teaching Chinese culture in teaching Chinese as a second language,analyzing of one Chinese culture teaching,the shortage and problems existing in Chinese culture teaching class,the consisting of teachers of Chinese culture,integrating the Chinese culture teaching programme and publishing the suitable Chinese culture material, teaching Chinese culture as one course,the using of modern science and technology and multi-media in teaching Chinese culture.Part four,conclusion and shortage.
