Victoria,Australia,set up the VCE “Language and Culture Group” examination in 2016 to parallel language teaching and cultural teaching,marking that Chinese cultural teaching will become more and more important in Victorian Chinese international education,and will even grow into an independent subject in the development of International Education of Chinese Language in Victoria.In order to help the Kambrya college improve the effect of cultural teaching,and give practical teaching suggestions.This thesis starts with the relationship of language and culture,in association of how to integrate the two in Cultural Teaching.Kambrya College's cultural teaching content,college cultural teaching strategy,four cultural teaching cases and the Dragon Boat Festival cultural activity planning cases were analyzed.The study found that due to the complex academic situation of students at Kambrya College,the short duration of cultural courses,and the insufficient utilization of cultural curriculum materials,there is currently no good parallel between language teaching and cultural teaching.First of all,the students studying Chinese in the college range from7 th to 10 th grades.The teaching goal and teaching duration of 7th to 8th,9th and 10 th grades are different.The 7th and 8th grades are mainly to cultivate students' language skills and cross-cultural communication skills.Three times per week;the VCE exam for grades 8 and 9 focuses on cultivating students' understanding of Chinese society and national conditions in addition to language skills and cross-cultural communication skills.Four times per week;secondly,Kambrya College does not have a scientific choice for the teaching content in cultural textbooks.Overall,the college's cultural teaching is still in its infancy.In order to improve the teaching effect of the college's culture,the author tried out the teaching of four cultural contents,and found that the students were more interested in Chinese knowledge and culture,and also increased their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.In order to better carry out cultural teaching,Kambrya College should first set different syllabuses for students at different stages,and adapt the cultural teaching content to the class;secondly,it should select representative and contemporary cultural teaching content,Finally,the teaching mode that takes cultural teaching as a process.Therefore,several suggestions relevant to cultural teaching will be put forward by analyzing teaching mode and strategies in Kambrya College,anticipating to furnish latter Chinese volunteers to Australia with a few elicitation and reference in implementing Chinese cultural activities,so as to explore diversified teaching methods in contribution to easy-to-learn and happy-to-learn.
