Ye Yanlan (1823-1897), from Panyu, canton. Like most ancient Chinese men, hehad another name Nanxue, and he also purported himself as Lantai and QiumengZhuren. Ye was the author of Qiu Meng An Ci Chao, which was composed of fourvolumes, included191Ci-poetries. In the existing research, Ye Yanlan has alwaysbeen placed in the category of "Eastern Canton three", and the research was toogeneral relatively. This paper focuses on Ye Yanlan’s Qiu Meng An Ci Chao as theresearch object, write based on pointing and noting on the works. The translation ofhis Ci-poetry are basic work in my paper. This paper will also research on his family,life and friendship, which had great influenced on Ye’s Ci-poetry creation. Startingfrom the text, the paper will analysis the artistic styles of these Ci-poetry combinedwith painting, figure out the source of Ye’s Ci-poetry under the background ofCantonese Ci-poetry culture. Try to see the development track of Cantonese Ci-poetrycharacter. And revealing the special significance of Ye Yanlan’s contribution in theCantonese Ci-poetry evolution.
