Research On The Folk Religion Of The Yuan Dynasty

This thesis mainly researchs on the folk religion inYuan Dynasty. First,I summarize the Whole content of Yuan folk religion. Secondly, I put the QingYuan asa case to discuss the content of Yuan folk beliefs.The third, I chose Guan Yu, CityTemple, Wen Chang, Guan Yin whose influences were great in Yuan folk religion asthe main research objects.Through the analysis to the characters of the government sacrifice and the folkbeliefs’object in Yuan Dynasty, I generally understand and master the intension offolk religion.Based on the rich local materials at the way of Qingyuan,I analyze thefolk beliefs of Qingyuan in tabular form.The content of Folk religion in Yuan Dynastyis complicated, we could’t be traced one by one. So I chose Guan Yu belief, CityTemple belief, Wen Chang belief, Guan Yin belief whose influences were great inYuan Dynasty as the main research in order to make the recognition of folk beliefsmore specific.
