From Religion To Ethic-Politics: The Idea Of Sacrifice Transformed In The Period Of Pre-Qin

This thesis tries to carry on a study to the traditional culture of China. As a kind of cultural phenomenon, the Sacrifice occupies an important position in the process of development of Chinese traditional cultural, especially making certain contribution to the formation of Confucianism.This thesis analysis sacrifices from the religion, ethics, and political three aspects. Sacrifice is a kind of pure religious activity when it was child, so when we analysis its religion aspect, it is doing a work that make track for root's trace to origins. Afterwards along with the development of mankind culture, the religion aspect of sacrifices dies down gradually, while humanities' factor of the reasonableness strengthens gradually. The performance that its reasonableness turns has two aspects: one is the emergence of ethics factor with offer sacrifices, the other is political function to highlight. The ethics aspect is mainly morality filial piety these concepts were boring, this thesis carried on a study to these factors respectively, particularly writing about morality a bit more. The political function of sacrifices mainly expresses by the ritual and music cultural and system, so last part of this thesis analysis ritual and music cultural and system. And the ritual is a core of Chinese tradition cultural, so this thesis also analysis simply origin and society, political function of ritual.
