However, bythe survey of the author, the domestic English educators and the people who hope toreceive professional training and access to the field of international Englisheducation, understood poorly about the official website of the organization, but thewebsite because of its authority in the field of TESOL as well as the quick updatingof cutting-edge information, covering the breadth, plays an important role in TESOLfield and as a good way of guiding the majority of English educators and enthusiaststo understand the dynamics and related international activities.This article is a practice report which is formed by translation in Chinese ofparts of web column of the TESOL International Association website, translationobject is the10,000words content (counted in Chinese characters) that the author isresponsible for the translation of that page on TESOL International Association Introduction, advance the field, attend and learn, and the latest news. The author inthe translation process of the project through combining the theories of text analysis,skopos theory, and other translation teleological theory, summed up the textcharacteristics of website translation, taking the right translation strategies andtechniques according to the text form, solving the problems which are easy toproduce during website translation, and having a detailed description of thetranslation process of entire project, so as to achieve the purpose of study, providingcertain reference for website translation. The Project aims at helping a majority ofthose who are engaged in English education, hope to receive professional trainingand access to the field of international English education to understand TESOL andthe relevant websites, by exposing the most cutting-edge news and information, andstriving to provide the targeted group and translation enthusiasts with the effectivereference and help.
