| This is a project report based on translation practice. The source texts of the project are eight pieces oftypical Internet industry news, which cover the categories of online shopping, search engine, public opinion monitoring, social network, online payment and mobile game. There are four parts in this report. The first part makes a brief introduction of the background, objectives and significance of the project and the structure of the report. The second part introduces the source and content of the eight pieces oftexts and analyses the texts from style, structure and language features. Based on communicative translation theory of Peter Newmark, the third part makes an analysis ofdifficulties and corresponding strategies of translating Internet industry news into English. And as a conclusion, the forth part is about the experience gained from this project, some suggestionsand the limitations of the project. |
