A Study On Psychological Intervention Of The Women Left In Rural Areas

After the reform and opening up, China’s economy has developped rapidly, Theregime is constantly being perfected. In this social context, the surplus rural labor flowto the city.It makes the rural social correspondingly appeared a unique group who iscalled "left-behind women".This group needs to finish the agricultural laborindependently. As the major force of rural economic development, some of them stillneed to do a small business or the part-time jobs. however, Due to the heavy lifepressure,the left-behind women women’s physical and mental have sufferedunimaginable pain. If the problem cannot be solved in time,it will have an significantinfluence on the development of left behind women themselves and our society.This paper took the Women who left in Rural Areas of Songshan District D Village inChifeng City for example. Firstly, the social worker selected the women who had thetypical characteristics of left-behind women at D village as the research object to analysetheir psychological problems, to identify the cause of problems and to find the availableresources to help them. Under the guidance of professional social work theory,accordingto the different situation of different women,social worker developped a professionalrelationship with the rural left-behind women,then made the case study of social workmethods and developed a plan of the service targets.Lastly,the social worker did thepsychological intervention, assessment and settle a lawsuit. according to the specifiedgoals and plans which made in advance.In the end of the research, the social workerconcluded the related countermeasures and Suggestions.At present, the familyives,relatives, friends, neighbors as China’s rural left-behindwomen’s socialsupport system,National policy and law, community services, socialorganzations and other socialsupport system have not become the rural left-behindwomen social support system, Therefore, in order to improve the mental health status ofthe rural left-behind women,this paper constructed four social support system for therural left-behind women,such as, the the government support,social support, familysupport and the rural left-behind women decide to improve themselves.
