Research On The National Corps In Shaanxi During The Anti-Japanese War Period

During the Anti-Japanese War, National Government set up National Corps guided by the strategy of protracted warfare and total warfare on local people armed basis and imitated the New Civil Corp of Guangxi province. National Corps marked the national government to produce military mobilization entered a new phase, that is, the national corps of grassroots mobilization of military units, the soldiers training, collection, complement the three organically combined. As the national government formed military mobilization during the war, the national corps system in the organization, training, mobilizing people and implement conscription system to ensure supplies and other front-line troops had some positive effect. And have achieved some success in improving the grassroots self-defense capability, the implementation of basic management, promotion of the war, boosting morale and so on. However, limited by the presence of the National Corps of internal corruption, and many other ills conscription seriously affected the implementation of the effectiveness of the system of national corps to some extent deviate from the initial orbit, ultimately failed to achieve the desired results.In this paper, Shaanxi National Corps during the War for the study investigated the effectiveness of its implementation process and made the implementation of the problems and shortcomings, and to analyze the historical status of national corps system, thereby understand how the national government through the implementation of the National Corps system at the grassroots level social conduct military mobilization, implementation of conscription, while the national government to re-examine the overall war and objective evaluation, and add new case studies and a reference to the System of National Corps.
