Lecture interpretation is an activity that people act as interpreters between listenersand Lecturers in academic exchange activities. The Japanese interpreter of Lectures not onlyneed the proficient Japanese,the quick response ability, but also need the good ability tostand,to understand the knowledge of related areas. Therefore, lecture interpreters must havehigher quality.A good lecture interpreter can understand the idea and view well and tell themto listeners exactly.In this practice, the author worked as the interpreter between Chinese listeners andLecturers in Bejing Yihaitongri translation company. In order to finish this task ofinterpretation, the author needed to be familiar with the research field, the speaker’s style, aswell as consult the former lecture content and interpretation materials. Translate the lecturersview into Chinese, and translate the listeners’ questions into Japanese, promote thecommunication betweenthe lecturers and the listeners. In addition, there were some problemsabout interpretation in the process of translation, wrong translation, mistranslation, speed ofspeaking and the listening comprehension during the interpretation. After finishing the task,taking all these problems in to consideration, the author made a conclusion that people shouldpay more attention to accumulating and practicing, therefore, they could avoid moreunnecessary mistakes and become a qualified interpreter of Lecture.
