Clinical Observation And Mechanism Research On The Electroacupuncture Of The Perimenopausal Syndrome

The thesis explores and observes the accommodation effectiveness of electroacupuncture on perimenopausal syndrome from three aspects on theory, experiment and clinic.The research on theory , it summarizes the recognization that the cause of disease and pathogenesis of perimenopausal syndrome from Chinese Medicine and Modern Medicine. It also summarizes the advancement of the research on clinical and mechanism using acupuncture treating this disease.The research on clinic is to observe 34 patients suffering from perimenopausal syndrome which is divided into 2 group （electroacupuncture and control group of Chinese materia medica） contrasted at random. After one course of treatment, we overview the diversity of their symptoms and kupperman index. The results show that total effective rate of electroacupuncture treatmen group are obviously higher than that those in control group of Chinese materia medica . clinical symptom are also improved than before. The research on the animal experiment, which diwided 40 rats into 4 groups（sham operation group, model group, electroacupuncture treatment group, and treating with estrogenic hormone group）, observes the change of cells,cast-off in rats, vagina; calculates the coefficient of those body weight, uterus, and adrenal gland; under the light microscope to observe the effect of those thickness of endometria; as well as the changement of E₂、FSH、LH in the serum using immune radiation methods to approach the possible mechanism of using electroacupuncture to treat perimenopausal syndrome.The research on the animal experiment has proved that the coefficient of those body weight in electroacupuncture group are obviously lower than that those in model group; the coefficient of uterus are significantly higher than those in model group （P<0.05） ,and so are those thickness of endometria in electroacupuncture group; after treating with electroacupuncture,the coefficient of adrenal gland are obviously lower than that those in model group; in serum E₂ content in electroacupuncture group are higher than that those in model group, wheras in serum FSH and LH contents in electroacupuncture group are lower than that those in model group. At the same time, it shows up a great quantity of Keratinocyte in cells,cast-off of rats, vagina after electroacupuncture.Conclusion: after entering menopause, the function of female testis is decreasing, then the stress ability is weakend to gonadotropic hormone, which will lead to great decrease of female sex hormone. The lower female sex hormone causes too much secretion of hypothalamus and appendices suprasphenoidalis, and more secretion gonadotropic hormone. Electroacupuncture may adjust through appendices suprasphenoidalis-hypothalamus- adrenal gland core to improve female sex hormone female level in serum, and improve the symptoms caused by functional disorder of autonomic nerve in female of post-menopause. But the mechanism of acupuncture regulates endocrine secretion is still complex, which needs penetrating research..
