Professor Dai Enlai’s Experience In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Prostatic Hyperplasia With Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:To summarize professor Dai Enlai’s experience in the field of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(BPH) treatment, including the theoretical research of Traditional Chinese Medicine,clinical treating experience and the regularity of drug use,etc.Methods:(1) Follow the tutor to carry out a large number of clinical practice.(2) Study professor Dai Enlai’s papers and lectures about BPH.(3) Study the tutor’s diagnosis and treatment experience by collecting typical clinical cases.(4) To organize a large number of related literatures studies about BPH(5) To summarize professor Dai Enlai’s experience in clinical drug use from 108 outpatient cases by a software named “The inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine auxiliary platform V2.5”.Results:(1) Professor Dai Enlai conclude the TCM pathogenesis of BPH as“Shen Xu Wei Ben,Wu Xie Wei Biao,Ben Xu Biao Shi”.(2) Professor Dai Enlai’s diagnosis and treatment experience in BPH can be summed up as "YuJie Wei Ji, Xu Bian Han Re,Wen Qing Fen Zhi, Mo Wang San Jie".(3) During the treatment of BPH,“Huo Xie Tong Jing Decoction” can be mainly used for activating blood circulation in BPH and the herbal named Semen litchi and Semen citri reticulatae are often used to soften the hard.The prescription "Nuan Gan Jian" is used for the "cold syndrome",however, the prescription“Niao Gan Tang” is often used for the“heat syndrome”.Conclusion:(1) Professor Dai Enlai has developed a distinctive academic viewpoint for the treatment of BPH.(2) Professor Dai Enlai’s diagnosis and treatment experience in BPH is refined and effective.
