Effects Of Melatonin And Compound Chinese Medicinal Preperation On Anti-Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

The purpose of this experiment is to explore the effection in the inhibition to the male rats' BPH by Melatonin(MT) and Compound Chinese Traditional Medicine(CCTM), and it related to anti-inflammation, ease-pain in point, and anti-aging. The anti-benign prostatic hyperplasia, epimeclium, inflammation, antiaging and ease pain of MT and CCTM were studied in mice under normal Light-Dark(LD) period. The experiment analyzed and inquired into the effects of melatonin and compound Chinese medicinal preparations by detecting the weight of sexual organ, the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), the content of malodehyde(MDA),the level of nitric oxide (NO), the changing of the prostatic histomorphology etc.It was shown that MT and CCTM have a better resistant effections on BPH,PS and many other aspects. In the model of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) mice induced by testosterone propionate (TP), TP could raise sexual organ wet weight and index.
