The Collation Research On The Chinese Medicine Culture Of Professor Enlai Dai

Purpose:This paper is aimed at organizing Professor Enlai Dai's understanding and exposition on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)culture,systematically conclude Professor Dai's achievements in TCM culture,so as to better inherit and promote the TCM culture.Methods:Through the methods of literature research,theme lectures,clinical practice apprenticeship,Professor Dai's academic thoughts that are related to TCM culture were organized and summarized.Result:This paper is divided into three parts: "The Path of Learning and Medical Practice","Cultural Sentiments",and "The Organization of TCM Culture".1.The Path of Learning and Medical Practice: This part briefly introduces the professor's early life,including his learning and medical practice experience.2.Cultural Sentiments: This part summarizes the professor's “devotion spirit”,“patriotism”,and “love of culture”.3.The Organization of TCM Culture is further divided into the following four aspects:(1)The understanding of the core ideologies of traditional Chinese culture: this part is best described as “the unremitting self-improvement awareness” and “relying on high moral standards to handle great endeavors”.(2)Research on the cultural spirit of TCM in Gansu: for the TCM culture of Gansu in the ancient times,the contents can be summed up as "the cultural creator,Fuxi,is the person who created the medical theories — the culture's origin","discussions between Qi Bo and Huang Di,leaving fame that lasts for thousands of years — the culture of our medical ancestors","Han Dynasty's medical bamboo slips,the herald of dialectics — the culture of medical bamboo slips","the tremendous writings of Huangfu inherit the past and usher in the future — the culture of acupuncture";as for the modern TCM culture in Gansu,the contents can be summed up as "the circulation of true qi,the treasure of health preservation","Zheng's acupuncture technique,the pearl of acupuncture techniques","Luoyang bone-setting manipulation,prospering into blossoms at Longyuan".(3)Research on the culture of TCM-Western medicine combination: this part cacn be summarized as "the theoretical ideas of the confluence of TCM and Western medicine"," the clinical diagnosis and treatment thoughts of combining disease and syndrome and having complementary advantages","the dialectical thinking about macroscopic pathogenesis as well as microscopic syndrome differentiation".(4)Discovery of Gansu's TCM culture — the spirit of humanities and culture exuded by the genuine medicinal materials: the content can be generalized into “the favoritism shown to Angelica sinensis for its dual blood-disorder-treatment effects”,“Both adversity and luck are conducive for Astragalus membranaceus”,“Relieving disorders and pacifying can prosper Rheum officinale”,and lastly,“the national godfather of all medicines,the Phyllanthus ussuriensis”.Conclusion:Professor Dai's understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture,especially that of Gansu,is rooted in his understanding and practice of traditional Chinese culture.His research achievements on Gansu traditional Chinese medicine culture mainly include the refinement of Chinese traditional culture and Gansu culture;Research on the culture of integrated Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine;Summary of the culture of Traditional Chinese medicine and the humanistic spirit of Gansu genuine medicinal materials.
