Objective:The method by occlusal adjustment rebuild food spillage tract of structural damage in patients with non anatomy vertical food impaction treatment, while applying CBCT measurement parameters, power analyzer jaw teeth bite force values measured before and after the occlusal adjustment.Preliminary discussion on the size of each index over food impaction causes and therapeutic effect correlation, occlusal adjustment for clinical treatment of food impaction provide quantitative standards. Methods:Selecting 51 nonanatomical structural damage vertical food impaction patients from Shanxi Medical University Dental Hospital Prosthodontics. After patients informed consent was taken "small number" approach to its occlusal adjustment treatment by the same physician. After occlusal adjustment, the patient is asked to try to eat mushroom food until feel improved or cured. Maxillary and mandible silicone impression were made on the impaction side before and after the occlusal adjustment, perfusion "plaster- resin" model, the model application CBCT tomography to measure 6 parameters:the food impaction zone adjacent line length between two adjacent teeth, the angle of buccal /lingual / occlusal embrasures, impaction of the gap area and the vertical distance(occlusal adjustment height) before and after occlusal adjustment, between two adjacent teeth level impaction distance gap area after occlusal adjustment(occlusal adjustment width). And with the jaw bite force analysis of bite force measured value impaction gap region of two adjacent teeth before and after occlusion. After a week, follow-up the treatment effect. And height and width of each divided into three groups, statistics of the number of each different curative effect after occlusal adjustment. Statistical analysis of relationship between change and food impaction causes and treatment of various indicators before and after the occlusal adjustment. Also, statistical analysis of the relationship between eachparameter and therapeutic effect after occlusal adjustment.Results:1.The length of adjacent line, the angle of buccal and lingual embrasures, three parameters before and after treatment the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05); The angle of occlusal embrasures, occlusal adjustment height two parameters before and after treatment the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).2.The treatment effect of different heights group differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).3.After treating different treatment effect groups, occlusal adjustment width difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The treatment effect of different widths group differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).5.Occlusal adjustment height, the length of adjacent line as parameters to evaluate the therapeutic effects of important influence factor(P<0.20).6.The difference before and after treatment of food impaction teeth bite force was statistically significant(P <0.001).Conclusion:1. Occlusal adjustment is effective in treating non-anatomical structures destroyed vertical food impaction, and after the occlusal adjustment height reach [1.0-1.4) mm, width reach [0.9-1.2) mm, the therapeutic effect is best.2. The length of adjacent line, occlusal adjustment height as important parameter to evaluate the therapeutic effect of the treatment play a key role.3. Before and after occlusal adjustment, the change of partial bite force of impaction teeth, suggesting that the causes and treatment of food impaction is relation to the size of bite force.
