Objective: The purpose of our study is to understand the current status of nursing quality control through the analysis of the results of nursing quality control in recent 7 years in a Ⅲ-A general hospital and to analyze the factors for the affect of the nurse quality through the questionnaire survey. It can provide scientific basis for the management to formulate targeted strategies to promote continuous improvement of the nurse quality.Methods: We collected the date about the results of nursing quality control in a Ⅲ-A general hospital in recent 7 years, including nursing documents management group, disinfection and isolation management group, holistic nursing management group, safety management group, environmental goods management group, we collected the deduction items and the corresponding nurses. We used a self-designed questionnaire to investigate the attitude of nurses towards the influencing factors of nursing quality by using cluster sampling method; we used the Excel 2007 and SPSS17.0 statistical software, counting data used proportion for statistical description, the c2 test for statistical inference. The measurement data used the mean and standard deviation for statistical description.Results: 1. Nursing document management group: The number of points of it was the most, and nurses aged less than 25 years old, worked less than 3 years, low educated nurses was the main points of the crowd. The survey results show that the influence of responsibility, support of hospital, theoretical knowledge, and the clinical manpower allocation were the biggest. 2. Nursing disinfection and isolation management group: nurses aged 26 to 30 years old, worked less than 10 years, and titles for primary nurses were more likely to be deducted. The survey results show that the influence of responsibility, support of hospital,working environment, cooperation with the relevant departments were the biggest. 3. Holistic nursing management group: the number of points and the rate of frequency points for holistic nursing quality had the highest growth, and nurses aged 26 to 30 years old, worked between 4 to 10 years, and titles for primary nurses were more likely to be deducted. The survey results show that the influence of responsibility, support of hospital, the relationship between doctors and nurses, communication skills and the clinical manpower allocation were the biggest. 4. Nursing safety management group: nurses aged 26 to 40 years old, worked between 4 to 10 years, and titles for primary nurses were more likely to be deducted. The survey results show that the influence of responsibility, support of hospital, work experience, practice skills were the biggest. 5. Environmental goods management group: nurses aged 26 to 40 years old, worked between 4 to 20 years, and titles for deputy director and primary nurses were more likely to be deducted. The survey results show that the influence of responsibility, support of hospital, instrument and equipment, the cooperation with relevant departments were the biggest.Conclusion: The nurses population of points were different for different nursing quality control groups. Nursing quality is affected by many different factors, we should understand the influencing factors and the demands of nursing staff, which will promote the continuous quality improvement of nursing and provide date support for management of the human resource allocation and hospital personnel system reform.
