Research On The Formation Of A Questionnaire Of Hospital Nursing Quality Control Circle And Status Survey

Objectives1.To develop and evaluate the "Hospital Nursing Quality Control Circle Questionnaire".2.To investigate the application status and influencing factors of the nursing product management circle and provide reference for the nursing manager to promote the quality control circle by using the hospital quality control circle application questionnaire which has been developed in this paper.MethodsThis study was divided into two parts.The first part was the development and validation of the Hospital Quality Control Circle Application Questionnaire.First,the dimensions and entries of the questionnaire were drafted initially through literature review,questionnaire reference and qualitative interviews.Second,the dimensions and entries of the questionnaire were determined through expert meetings and assessed the reliability of the experts from the level of authority of the experts.Then,the questionnaire for the survey was developed after the pre-investigation.Even more,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were evaluated by selecting 187 clinical nurses and 6 experts.The second part was the quantitative research on the application of the hospital nursing quality control circle questionnaire,which used the general data questionnaire,the quality control circle utilization questionnaire and the "hospital nursing quality control circle questionnaire" as tools and through multi-stage random sampling to randomly select 944 nurses from 15 second-and third-grade hospitals in Henan Province to conduct an investigation.The data was entered by using Epidata 3.1 software and statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS21.0 software.In the statistical method,the qualitative data was analyzed by frequency,rate descriptive analysis and ?2 test and the quantitative data was measured by average±standard deviation,sexual analysis and multiple linear regression.The test level ? was set to 0.05.In addition to this,a combination of convenient sampling and purpose sampling was used to conduct 11 semi-structured interviews.Based on the interview records,the themes and inductive analysis were used to understand the effectiveness,influencing factors and problems of the quality control circle in the perspective of nurses to confirm the results of quantitative research.ResultsThe results of the first part were as follows: "The hospital nursing quality control circle questionnaire" consisted of 23 entries in 5 dimensions,which the application effectiveness include 8 entries,the personnel factors include 3 entries,the skill factors include 4 entries the institutional factors include 3 entries and the negative impact include 5 entries The reliability and validity test results of the questionnaire showed that the decision value of each item was t>3.00(P<0.05),the correlation between the item and the total score was 0.424~0.686(P<0.01),and the overall consistency content validity of the whole level was 0.83,the average content validity was 0.97 and the content validity of each item was 0.83~1.00.In addition to this,the exploratory factor analysis extracted 5 factors,the cumulative variance contribution rate was 72.486% and the total Cronbach's ? coefficient and the test-retest reliability were 0.812 and 0.902 respectively.The results of the second part were as follows:(1)The positive effect score of the quality control circle was(3.97±0.619),the negative performance score was(3.15±0.778),the influencing factor scores from low to high were skill factors(2.74±0.800),institutional factors(2.77±0.847)and personnel factors(3.30±0.910).(2)In the single factor analysis,the dimensions of the application of the quality control circle and the factors affecting the application of the quality control circle were the dependent variables.When the hospital level was different,the difference of the scores of each dimension had statistically significant.While when he nurses experience was different,the difference of the scores of negative performance and personnel skill were had statistically significant.(3)Through qualitative interviews with nurses on the experience of quality control circle,eight themes were drawn: improving quality,reducing costs,meeting demand,increasing circle pressure,part of activity follow-up,personnel factors,skill factors,and institutional factors.Conclusion1."The hospital nursing quality control circle questionnaire" had good reliability and validity and could be used for the investigation of the status of the application of the quality control circle in the hospital.2.The quality control circle of public hospitals in Henan Province had a wide range of applications and the application effect was at the middle and upper levels.In the negative performance dimension,the item “causing the member to complain about the division of labor and cooperation” had the highest score,prompting the manager to pay attention to the reasonable allocation of the member and carry out effective personnel management when conducting the quality control circle activity.The skill factor dimension score was lower,suggesting that managers should pay attention to the skills training of the members and improve the skill level of the medical staff.3.The quality control circle can improve quality,reduce costs and meet the needs of nurses,thereby improving the level of nursing management and optimizing the nurse team.
