A Clinical Analysis Of 576 Cases Of Hospitalized Patients With Vertigo

Objective: To study the composition and characteristics of hospitalized patients with dizziness/vertigo diseases in Qinghai province, and provide reference for vertigo disease prevention and treatment. Methods: Collected in October 2014 to Spetember 2015 Qinghai university affiliated hospital inpatients in cases of vertigo disease a total of 576 cases, on the basis of age, sex, disease respectively, ethnic classification summary analysis. Results: The proportion of vertigo related diseases in hospitalized patients was 15.85%, women is higher than that of men(male: female: =1:1.13)。Vertigo of Central and peripheral vertigo, non-vestibular Vertigo is 48.78%, 36.98%, 12.15%, dizziness of unknown classification 2.09%.Vertigo patients age span of 13 to 87 years old, Central Vertigo increases with age, the median age was 64 years old and peak aged 60 to 74,and vestibular peripheral vertigo and non-vestibuler vertigo peak for 45 to 59 years old. The inducement of vertigo disease in sports, mental/mood can induce the vestibule and non-vestibular vertigo, the principal cause of vestibular vertigo attacks are sports related. Vertigo associated with chronic disease in hypertension, dyslipidemia is more, the correlation needs more researched. With hearing loss of vertigo, male: female = 1:1. 21, high-risk aged 46 to 55 years old. Vertigo disease in Xining city is higher than other regions. Different types of vertigo in Qinghai province were no significant difference between ethnic groups. Conclusion: In hospitalized patients with Vertigo related diseases,patients with central vertigo is more than other types.Vertigo disease can occur in all age groups, women are higher than men.Central vertigo is mainly concentrated in the age of 60, while the peripheral and non vestibular high incidence of similar age, in the age of 45~59.The inducement of vertigo in hospitalized patients is nonspecific.With hearing loss of vertigo, women more than men, the peak age of 46 to 55 years old.No differences between different ethnic groups of vertigo diease.
