Study On Curative Effect Of “lazi Twelve” Compound For Hemorrhoids

Objective: To sum up predisposing factors, classification, diagnosis of hemorrhoids by literature review, to observe effect of “Lazi twelve” compound for treating hemorrhoids and to explain functionary mechanism of “Lazi twelve” compound for hemorrhoids.Methods:1. Literature Review: By referring to the 49 classical Tibetan medical books to further elaborated etiology, mechanism, classification, symptoms and treatment methods of hemorrhoids. And selecting “Lazi twelve” compound to explain its prescription and mechanism of relieving and curing hemorrhoids by pharmacological mechanism of Tibetan medicine2. Filed Investigation: to investigate 21 experts from 11 prefecture and county level Tibetan Hospitals in Qinghai and Sichuan Provinces are requested to complete questionnaires for getting a preliminary understanding of the current situation of the diagnosis and treatment of hemorrhoids.3. Clinical trial: choosing 31 cases according to the diagnostic criteria of the patients and taking “Lazi twelve” compound for hemorrhoids, from Henan Mongolia and Tibet hospital outpatient department in Huangnan Prefecture. It takes once every day, 7 days for a course of treatment, after one course of treatment to assess therapeutic effect by observe the main symptoms of patients before and after treatment are including hematochezia, prolapse, pain, swelling, distention, constipation or Diarrhea, abdominal distension, integral comparative anal itching, and statistical analysis was performed to further clarify the clinical effect of the party.Results:1. Results by Literature review: Many Tibetan medical researchers argue that hemorrhoids is caused by "downward long", "Sen", and "yellow water". The mechanism of “Lazi twelve” compound in many classical books are eliminating " Sen "," yellow water, convergence vein point, swelling, inflammation, pain, increasing "hot" and reducing "lung" effect, so “Lazi twelve” compound has good curative effect of hemorrhoids in theoretically.2. Results by Survey: Questionnaire survey showed that 36 oral prescription and only 2 ointment or substandard drugs for treating hemorrhoids, so current clinical treatment of hemorrhoids on prescription type is much less than treatment of hemorrhoid mentioned in Tibetan medicine books.3. Findings by Clinical trial: 1. before and after treatment in patients with symptoms has significant difference(P < 0.05). 2. This study recovered accounted for 6% of the total number, effective accounted for 26% of the total number, effectively accounted for 52% of the total number, invalid account for 16% of the total number.Conclusion:1. Effectiveness of “Lazi twelve” for treating hemorrhoids is significant.2. “Lazi twelve” compound has significant function of relieving main symptoms of hemorrhoids like hematochezia, pain, swelling, anal itching are significantly reduced. And symptoms like the bulge, abdominal distension and constipation have good effect, but there is no obvious effect of hemorrhoids prolapse symptoms.3. Short duration or light condition patients has significant effect.4. Tibetan medicine diagnosis of cold hemorrhoids patients has significant effect.
