It is found through the investigation and statistical analysis that Chongqing has insufficient health resources; the allocation of health resources per capita and in different areas is under unfair condition, health resources allocation efficiency is low; high quality resources are scarce and highly concentrated; grassroots hospitals’ services are relatively of low quality; and healthcare human resources is rather potent to the doctor-patient relationship.2. It is surveyed that the existing problems are as follows: the doctor-patient relationship is in great tension; there is insufficient communication between doctor and patient; the doctor’s working burden is heavy with high expectations from patients; there is still difficulty and high cost in medical treatment; there exists doctor-patient cognitive differences on the present situation, and thus brings about disputes. Both doctors and patients are of dissatisfaction with the current situation of health resource allocation, and the allocation of health resources is an important factor to affect the doctor-patient relationship. Conclusion:It is suggested to make a full play of the government’s role to rationally allocate health resources and improve the efficiency of the allocation. Increasing government support and input to the medical institutions is needed, and guaranteeing the public medical institution’s welfare and charity function is necessary, so as to get the the true sense of the public welfare course back. It is important to promote the structural adjustment of human resources for health, and to strengthen the construction of grass-roots health talents; to replace the backward input with excellent sources; constantly to integrate resources to achieve the balance of supply and demand. It is significant to speed up the construction of the grading system and popularize the reform of public hospitals pilot work. Strengthening the doctor-patient communication will also increase mutual trusts. Based on Chongqing’s status quo, it will further optimize health resource allocation and relieve the strain on the doctor-patient relationship.
