Objective:To explore the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention and doctor-patient relationship among the medical personnel,and the mediating effect of job satisfaction on doctor-patient relationship and turnover intention,and provide scientific basis which aim at easing the tense relationship between doctors and patients,improving the job satisfaction of medical personnel and reducing the turnover rate.Methods:Using the multi-phase stratified cluster random sampling method to get the sample.The medical personnel questionnaire formulated by the National Health and Family Planning Commission was taken to measure job satisfaction,turnover intention anddoctor-patient relationship Of the medical personnels.Using the Single factor analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, Hierarchical regression analysis to investigate the general situation of medical personnels and the relationship between of them. Using hierarchical regression analysis to verify the mediating effect of jobsatisfaction on the relationship between doctor-patient relationship and turnover intention.To construct the structural equation model to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction.Results:The score of job satisfaction,turnover intention and perceived doctor-patient relationship of medical personnel in Chongqing was 6.83±1.63,4.51±2.20 and 6.22±1.38.There was a negative correlation between perceived doctor-patient relationship and turnover intention(r=-0.325,P<0.01), There was a negative correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention(r=-0.475,P<0.01),There was a positive correlation between perceived doctor-patient relationship and turnover intention(r=0.390,P<0.01). Job satisfaction plays a partial mediating effect between perceived doctor-patient relationship and turnover intention.Conclusion:A relation exists between job satisfaction,turnover intention and perceived doctor-patient relationship of medical personnel.And job satisfaction plays a partial mediating effect between perceived doctor-patient relationship and turnover intention.Therefore,to improve the job satisfaction, reduce turnover rate and Improve the relationship between doctors and patients, We should provide a wealth of resources for medical personnel, and pay attention to the psychological support and mental health of medical personnel. Finally, we can consider the inclusion of the doctor-patient relationship as a relevant dimension of job satisfaction, in view of the medical personnel in this special group of job satisfaction.
