[Objective]1. Investigate the nutritional status of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in elderly patients2. Analysis the main factors of malnutrition in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, to provide the purpose of reference for clinical nurses to develop nutrition education and nutrition intervention programs,[signification]Investigate the nutritional status of elderly patients with stable COPD, and analysis of relevant factors affecting the nutritional status. To provide the support of clinical nutrition interventions, and to develop nutrition education and nutrition intervention program for clinical nurses to provide purposeful reference.[Method]Investigate nutritional status of elderly patients with COPD use of mini nutritional assessment (MNA) and anthropometric indicators. Mini nutritional assessment is the standard of nutritional status. Investigate demographic data and disease related information, the levels of social support, anxiety and depression of patients with COPD use of questionnaires. Analysis and discuss the factors of the nutritional status comprehensive for developing a comprehensive system of health education programs and the nutritional intervention programs for stable COPD patients.[Result]1. Nutritional status of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stable period160 cases of COPD elderly patients participated in this study,152 cases have completed the study. There are 27 patients(17.8%) patients with malnutrition,91 patients (59.9%) at risk of malnutrition.2. Univariate analysis of nutritional status of patients with other variables2.1 Sociodemographic dataThere are significant differences between age, marital status, medical expense methods with nutritional status(P<0.05).There are no significant differences between gender, area of residence, education level, monthly income, smoking, alcohol consumption and exercise conditions with the nutritional status(P>0.05).2.2 Disease-related factorsThere are significant differences between Course of disease, COPD disease severity classification, dyspnea score, length of hospital stay with the nutritional status(P<0.05); There are no significant differences between frequency of acute exacerbation in one year with the nutritional status (P>0.05).2.3 Anxiety and depressionThere are significant differences between anxiety, depression with the nutritional status(P<0.05)2.4 Social supportThere are significant differences between social support and the nutritional status(P>0.05)3. Multiple linear regression analysis of nutritional status influence factors of patientsThe result of multiple linear regression analysis:disease duration, disease severity classification, Length of hospital stay, anxiety and social support are influence factors of stable COPD elderly patients.[Conclusion]1. There is a higher incidence of malnutrition and the risk of malnutrition in COPD elderly patients. Malnutrition and overnutrition are coexist in elderly patientswith COPD.2. There is correlation between nutritional status with age, marital, medical expense mode, duration, severity of disease classification, dyspnea score, length of hospital stay, anxiety, depression and social support.3. The result of multiple linear regression analysis shows that disease duration, disease severity classification, Length of hospital stay, anxiety and social support are influence factors of stable COPD elderly patients. It is helpful to formulate early nutritional intervention contents for stable COPD elderly patients.
