The Observation Of Clinical Effect Of "Tongduwenyang" Acupuncture Combined With Medium-frequency Pulse To Treat Protrusion Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of "Tongduwenyang" acupuncture combined with medium-frequency pulse to treat protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc. Methods:60 cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group using "Tongduwenyang" acupuncture combined with medium-frequency pulse treatment. The control group used medium-frequency pulse treatment. Two groups of treatment 5 times a week, continuous two weeks treatment for 1 course of treatment. Observe the data of VAS and JOA low back pain score and the surface electromyography monitoring before and after treatment. The surface electromyography observe the average electrical values(AEMG) and the median frequency of slope(MFs). Statistical analysis of indicators and judge the clinical curative effect.Results:Through the statistical analysis,two groups have the clinical curative effect on protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc, all the indexes were improved, but the data shows that the treatment group on the degree of improving the indicators more significantly than control group.Treatment group total effectiveness 93.3%, control group total effectiveness 76.7%,The differences between the two groups have statistical significance(P<0.05).VAS score:Treatment group before treatment 6.70±1.82, after treatment 2.47±2.01,the difference4.23±1.48.Control group before treatment 6.73±1.89,after treatment 4.00±2.03,the difference2.73±1.55.The differences within two groups and between the two groups have statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05).JOA low back pain score:Treatment group before treatment 11.70±5.89, after treatment21.73±4.65, the difference-10.03±3.67.Control group before treatment 11.87±5.70,after treatment 15.2±5.11,the difference-3.33±1.71. The differences within two groups and between the two groups have statistical significance after treatment (P<0.05).AEMG:Treatment group before treatment 45.31±7.02,after treatment50.62±6.72.Control group before treatment, after treatment46.51±7.36.The differences within two groups and between the two groups have statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). MFs:Treatment group before treatment-5.38±4.80,after treatment 2.40±5.95.Control group before treatment -4.11±5.40,after treatment0.98±5.03.The differences within two groups and between the two groups have statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). Control group before treatment-4.11±5.40, after treatment0.98±5.03.The differences within two groups and between the two groups have statistical significance after treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of "Tongduwenyang" acupuncture combined with medium-frequency pulse have significant efficacy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. It deserves to be spread and studied in the clinic.
