To Observe The Clinical Effect Warm Acupuncture Of The 3-lumbar Points In The Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion

ObjectiveComparing the clinical effect between warm acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points and electric acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points in the treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion.Methods60 Patients of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion were assigned to treatment group(Warm acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points group)and the control group(Electric acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points group)according to the principle of simple random and blindness.Through 4weeks treat,we evaluate the the curative effect through Lumbago scale under the JOA,short form Pain scale of Mcqill,disability index scale of Oswestry,and analyze the difference between the two groups.ResultsBefore treatment,compared the gender,age,diseased region,disease course,TCM syndromes,Lumbago scale under the JOA,short form pain scale of Mcqill,disability index scale of Oswestry of two groups of cases,the value of the items have no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,Lumbago scale under the JOA,short form Pain scale of Mcqill,disability index scale of Oswestry of each group are lower than that before the treatment,the value of the items make significant difference(P<0.05).It show us that:tne two kinds of treatments all can improve clinical symptoms and signs of Lumbar Disc Prolapse,and daily activities.Compared warm acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points group with electric acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points group,the difference of all indexes make no statistical significant(P>0.05).The effective rate of therapy group is 93.3%,and the effective rate of control group is 86.7%.ConclusionWarm acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points and electric acupuncture of the 3-lumbar points,all can improve clinical symptoms and signs of Lumbar Disc Prolapse,and daily activities,the waist activity.and they have equally clinical effect.
