| ObjectiveIn this study, we try to observe the clinical effect of fili-form fire needle treat on lumbar muscles strain. We choose the patients treated by common acupuncture as the contrast group, and observe the different effect of these two methods, try to investigate the effect of different therapy and different acupoint selection of this study.In the end, find an effective method for the treatment of lumbar muscle strain.MethodsIn this subject, we totally chose 60 cases of cold-dampness lumbar muscles strain patients. Those patients were randomly devided into two groups, each group had 30 cases. The treatment group was treated by fili-form fire needle with routine acupuncture. The pionts of Shenshu, Dachangshu, Weizhong, Zhibian, Yaoyangguan and living acupoint as the treat points. Firstly, conventional acupuncture was performed on these points, then, we took the fili-form fire needle on Zhibian, Yaoyangguan and living point. The treatment was once each two days, three times a week, the course was two weeks. The control group just treated with routine acupuncture, the points, the method of operation and the course was as the same as the treatment group. After two weeks of treatment, we compared the VAS scores, the clinical symphtom scores and the clinical sign scores of two groups before and after the treatment. We analysed the clinical data with spssl9.0 and compared the different efficacy between the two group patients of lumbar muscles strain.Results1. Basic data:the basic information of the two groups, contains age, gender and the course of desease was almost same, it was comparable.2. VAS scores:before the treatment,the patients’ VAS scores in treatment and control group was 5.25±2.06 and 5.56±2.15, there was no significant difference. While after the treatment, the VAS score of these two group was 1.86±0.44 and 3.18±0.75. Compared with before treatment, the VAS score of the two group decreased significantly, but the treatment group decreased much more than control group.3. The clinical symphtom score:before the operation, the clinical symphtom score of the treatment group was 6.36±1.03, while the control group was 6.59 ±1.37. After the course of treatment, the symphtom score was 2.02±0.44、 3.53±0.52. The score in both two groups decreased, there was statistical significance, while the treatment symphtom score decreased more significantly.4. The clinical sign score:before, the clinical sign score of these two group was 11.03±2.03、10.98±2.65, it was comparable. After the treatment, the score was 4.12±1.44、6.53±1.52. The clinical sign score decressed significantly, while the treatment group decreased much more.5. The total efficacy:after two weeks of treatment, there were 3 cases cured (10.00%),12 cases of significant effect (40.00%),12 cases improved (40.00%), 3 cases with no-effective (10.00%) in treatment group. The total clinical effective rate was 90.00%; while the control group had 1 case cured (3.33%), 9 cases in significant effective(30.00%),12 cases improved(40.00%),8 cases invalid (26.67%). The overall effective rate was 73.3%.ConclusionIn this study, we choose the cold-dampness lumbar muscles strain as the observation index, survay the clinical effect of fili-form fire needle on the lumbar muscles strain. The study shows that the fili-form fire needle can improve the patients’VAS score, the clinical symphtom score and the clinical sign score. This therapy can warm and activate meridian, dissipate cold and relieve pain. It is worth to applicating. |
