Clinical Study Of Protein Energy Wasting Effect On Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease 4 Spleen And Kidney Deficiency By Treatment Of Yishenjiangzhuo Granule

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Yishenjiangzhuo Granule on patients with stage 4 chronic kidney disease(CKD)and spleen and kidney deficiency type and their energy metabolism of protein,and explore its mechanism.This study may provide a new way of treatment on CKD and improvement of patient’s nutrition.Methods:80 patients with stage 4 chronic kidney disease(CKD) and spleen and kidney deficiency type of the Provincial People’s Hospital affiliated to Fujian University of TCM were. enrolled,and randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Patients of control group were given western medicine only,besides the western medicine,patients of treatment group took the Yishenjiangzhuo Granule three pouches(10gram/pouch) per day and,six months as a course.During the treatment,the MIS(Malnutrition Inflammation Score,MIS)Score and TCM symptoms integral,BMI,MAC,TSF,PA, ALB,HGB,TC,SF,TRFand Scr were evaluated every 2 months before and after treatment in both of the two groups.Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS18.0 system software,group comparison between measurement data set using t test,counting data by chi-square test.Results:The scores of MIS and TCM clinic symptoms of treatment group decreased much than that of control group after treatment(P<0.05);and The serum prealbumin increased much more than that of control group after treatment(P<0.05);After treatment,the kidney function of both groups of patients were improved;No obvious adverse effect was found in both groups.Conclusion:1.YishenjiangZhuo granule integrated with western medicine can improve the symptoms of Spleen and Kidney of CKD4 patients and their nutrition;the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0%,and the total effective rate of control group was 42.50%,the result revealed YishenjiangZhuo granule is the better treatment on patients with Spleen and Kidney deficiency and CKD4.2.YishenjiangZhuo granule integrated with western medicine can increase serum prealbumin of patients with Spleen and Kidney deficiency and CKD4,and can more effectively improve hemoglobin,increase the patient’s serum protein synthesis.3.The result shows no improvement of BMI,TSF,MAC with YishenjiangZhuo granuleANo obvious adverse effect was found in both groups,and this study reveal the effect and safety of the YishenjiangZhuo granule.
