Frequency of treatment are once every two days,14 days is an observation period. Evaluation of patients before treatment and after treatment using the VAS (Visual Analogue Score) and JOA (Japanese Orthopaedic Association score), patients were evaluated by a standard of "Chinese disease diagnosis and efficacy standards"after all the treatments. The efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.Clinical efficacy assessments:there was no significant difference (P>0.05) between the two groups in clinical efficacy after treatment. It suggested that no difference between the treatment group and control group. But the efficiency of the treatment group was 93.33%, higher than the efficiency of the control group 86.67%.2. VAS:VAS within two groups compared with themselves have significant difference (P<0.05) before and after treatment;there was no significant difference between two groups after treatment(P>0.05). It suggested that both of the two groups are effective in alleviating low back pain in patients with lumbar disc herniation in the latter part, and there are no difference between the two groups.3.Each of these sections of JOA:(1)Symptoms, no significant difference between the two groups of patients in low back pain and walking ability (P>0.05) after treatment, and there are significant differences in the leg pain or numbness(P<0.05). It suggested that the treatment group is more effective in alleviating leg pain or numbness than the control group, there are no difference in the other two symptoms; (2) Signs, there are no significant difference between the two groups of patients in all signs (P>0.05) after treatment. It suggested that no difference between the two groups in alleviating all of the signs.(3)Improvement in the ability of living, there are no significant difference between two groups of patients in station limited, sitting one hour limited and lift and carry objects limited(P>0.05) after treatment;there are significant difference in supine turned constrained, limitation of washing, limitation of forwarding stance and walking(P<0.05).It suggested that no difference between two groups of patients in station limited, sitting one hour limited and lift and carry objects limited, there are significant difference in supine turned constrained, limitation of washing, limitation of forwarding stance and walking.4.The total score of JOA:There are both significantly different within two groups of patients(P<0.05) before and after treatment;there are significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05) after treatment. It suggested that both two groups were effective in improving total score of JOA, and the treatment group is more effective than the control group.Conclusion:1.It’s effective that massage combined cinesiotherapy when cupping to relieve low back pain and improving the ability of live in patients with lumbar disc herniation in the latter part, especially in alleviating leg pain or numbness, and improving supine turned constrained, limitation of washing, limitation of forwarding stance and walking. It has more significant effect compared with the control group received therapy of massage combined the ordinary cupping;2.After a course of treatment, both of the two groups can significantly improve the symptoms and signs of patients with lumbar disc herniation in the latter part;3.The therapy of massage combined cinesiotherapy when cupping is operability, good security, small economic burden, effective, and it’s worthy of clinical, especially promot in primary health care units widely.
